Meet Our Staff Patricia Rode
BS,PT,DPT

Patty graduated from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo (State University of New York) with a BS in Physical Therapy and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Des Moines, Iowa. She has 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist treating orthopedic patients, worker’s compensation and occupational injuries. Patty has a consulting business in Wilmington, NC called Industrial Plus Therapy and performs FCE’s, job analyses, work risk analyses and onsite training. She has made multiple presentations related to ergonomics, back school and neck school to various industries. In addition, Patty has presented at various national conferences on the topics of FCE’s and the treatment of the industrial athlete.

Patty is certified as an evaluator and trainer in both the ErgoScience PWPE and QJDA processes. Patty’s role at ErgoScience includes QA, FCE/QJDA training, Customer Support and Clinical Coordination of onsite projects. In addition, Patty continues to provide outpatient services and treats patients in the clinic on a regular basis.  Patty is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Occupational Health Special Interest Group as well as a member of the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association (NCPTA).
