Job Demands Analysis

The ErgoScience Quantitative Job Demands Analysis (QJDA) is an evaluation process that examines and quantifies the physical demands required to perform a given job or position within an organization. The QJDA is performed at the worksite and includes ether videotaping or systematic observation. The analyst also measures the forces required to perform the job and distances over which those forces are exerted . Data is entered into software that scores and creates a report in MS Word. The JDA information is used to create job-specific post-offer and return-to-work screens, job-specific FCEs, to develop transitional duty programs, and to make rehab programs job-specific. Objective JDAs ensure that functional testing and return to work programs are ADA and EEOC-specific. A good job analysis is the foundation for the legal defensibility of your programs!
